            The Atlanta International School Athletics Department will offer eight different youth camps during the summer months of June, July, and August. Sports Camps will be hosted in the areas of basketball, track & field, volleyball, soccer & sports medicine. Camps will be conducted by members of the AIS coaching staff and available to the entire community, both students and non-AIS students.

            The AIS Soccer program led by head coaches, Jonn Warde & Jaimel Johnson, will open summer with a Junior Eagles & Eagles Soccer Camp. The morning camp is available for girls and boys grades 5K – 8th grade. The evening camp will run from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm and is available for girls and boys grades 9 – 12. The focus of each camp is to develop players technically and tactically. 

            Head Athletic Trainer, David Schrader will lead our first Eagles Sports Medicine Workshop. This 5-day workshop is designed to help high 五福彩821ccapp students interested in the field of sports medicine gain knowledge and understanding of the field through a hands-on approach to Athletic Training. Throughout the week, students will learn the basics of anatomy and physiology, taping and wrapping, common injuries and rehabilitation associated with those injuries, American Heart Association CPR certification, and emergency on-field care. At the end of the week, students will return to their respective high 五福彩821ccapps with a better understanding of the field and feel more confident as an athletic training student aide. This is an all-day workshop from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

            AIS Track & Field program and Varsity Head Coach, Zully Pascual will lead our first Run, Jump & Throw Camp for boys and girls grades 5K-8th grade. Camp will focus on the fundamental motor skills required for track and field.

            The AIS Girls & Boys Basketball programs will lead two sessions of Eagles Girls & Boys Basketball camp for girls and boys grades 5K – 8th grade. Both camps will be an opportunity for athletes to enhance their basketball skills, techniques, understanding, and passion for the game! Players will work on shooting, dribbling, passing, defense and how to take their individual skill set in those areas to the next level.

            Eagles Volleyball Camp
             (boys and girls) will be led by Head Coach Miguel Angel Romero. Campers ranging from grades 5K - Grade 8 will learn and improve individual technique, skill development and a better understanding of team concepts. The camp is designed to offer athletes the opportunity to learn, improve and refine their fundamental skills of volleyball in a positive and fun atmosphere.

            The AIS Athletic Department will host our first End of Summer Multi-Sport Camp. Our Multi-Sport Camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this week, we combine 2-3 sports into one fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through scrimmages, skill-based games, and scrimmages. By the end of the week, each camper will walk away with knowledge of new sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self- discipline.

            • Free early drop off at 8:00 a.m.

              Calling all budding soccer players! Join us for summer soccer camp at AIS! Our AIS coaches aim to develop players both technically and tactically. Filled with fun, competitive drills and games, the camp will help soccer players of all abilities improve their soccer skills and their understanding of the game. It will also provide players with the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, build confidence, and most importantly have fun! This camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. By the end of the camper will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends, and have improved their sport skills preparing them to play during recess or league play!
            • Week 2: Sports Medicine & Run, Jump & Throw (June 15-19)

              Run, Jump & Throw camp focuses on the fundamental motor skills required for track & field. Learning how to run, jump and throw properly will provide youths with the skills needed to achieve their athletic potential in track and field and many other sports. The camp teaches these skills using a variety of track & field events taught using fun strategic play in a positive and interactive atmosphere.

              Junior Eagles Boys & Girls Basketball Camp’s objective is to provide an opportunity for athletes to enhance their basketball skills, techniques, understanding, and passion! The campers will be exposed to basic fundamental drills that will help them obtain their goals for their present, as well as prepare them for their future basketball career. To reach their fullest potential, each player needs the necessary knowledge, techniques, and drive that goes with competitive sports. Through exposure to repetitive drills, competition and enthusiastic instruction, we hope to instill a “fire” in these athletes that will drive them to improve on their own. Basketball camp focuses on the fundamentals of basketball through station work and competitions, with a low camper-to-coach ratio and a predominance of individualized instruction.  Campers will develop self-esteem, build enthusiasm for the game, increase their on-court confidence, and of course, have fun! To ensure each camper has a meaningful experience, participants will be divided by age and skill level.
            • Week 7: Basketball (Session II) (July 20-24)

              AIS Eagles Girls & Boys Basketball Camp II

              This session will focus on individual skill development and team competition through gameplay and contests.  A strong focus on the fundamental development of ball-handling, shooting, and defense that aligns with our AIS Basketball program at the high 五福彩821ccapp level. Camp offers a week of encouraging yet competitive drills, stations, and off-court activities to help improve your overall skill set. Players of all abilities will develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.
            • Week 8: Volleyball (July 27-31)

              AIS Eagles Volleyball Camp

              This camp is designed to teach the game of volleyball in a relaxed and fun environment. The focus will be on individual player development with all aspects of the game being taught by experienced coaches who are passionate about the game of volleyball. Campers will improve technique, skill development, and individual self-confidence.  We will provide a positive environment so each camper will gain confidence as a volleyball player while improving their physical skills!
